Award Winning Training
One of Pueblo’s strongest assets its education and training. Companies will find numerous resources for task and-skill specific training and leadership courses for new workers hired during a start up phase. Ongoing programs provide long-term training for both new hires and current employees.
Pueblo's most prominent resource is the nationally recognized Economic & Workforce Development Division (EWDD) at Pueblo Community College. The EWDD’s training staff, equipment and facilities have been marshaled to develop customized training class rooms and on-site training courses for many companies. PCC also offers advanced manufacturing training conducted through the development of a series of mobile learning labs. These labs were instrumental in Vestas' decision to partner with PCC and its well-known training program in order to customize training applications that were tailored to meet their specific needs and be done on site.
