The City and County of Pueblo Economic Forum took place on a cold and snowy January 7th morning.  Several curious and engaged citizens attended to gain data-driven insights about the economy on a global, national, state, regional and local level and the work underway to position Pueblo for stronger economic growth.

The featured speakers for the morning were Dr. Tatiana Bailey, Executive Director of Data Driven Strategies, who provided an updated highlight of economic activity and what it means for area residents, businesses, industry and the local economy, and  Suzie Miller, Director of the Colorado Workforce Consortium who offered insights to workforce solutions planned by the state.    Additional forward-thinking solution minded comments were given by Dr. Chato Hazelbaker, president of Pueblo Community College, Armando Valdez, President of CSU-Pueblo, Jeff Shaw, CEO of PEDCO and Tony Colarelli, SVP and Market President of InBank.     The event was MC’d and brought to life by Pueblo City Councilman Dennis Flores.
